The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
Amel’s respected ‘blue water Cruising’ reputation is stamped all over this impressive yacht. She is fully equipped and ready to sail, storage everywhere and well equipped. Mid way through her life she has benefited greatly from a major refit. Ashore now in the Ionian, Lefkas area for winter.
Purchased by the current German owners (in France) 2014 they have cruised from France to Greece since 2015 until present day. Prior to that she was little used in French ownership from 2002-2014.
Evidence/Invoice copies of quote for 2002 refit and maintenance and work invoice copies from 2010-2014 available on request.
