Suzumar S265 tender (2.65m)

We were second owners, bought from Fox’s Ipswich (Beneteau Agent) who supplied boat to original owner. VAT paid.

1st owner used little, shrink wrapped each winter etc for 5 years. We were based in Ipswich until 2012 when we sailed to the Mediterranean. Most sailing has been myself + my wife (who only likes calm sailing). We have spent Spring and Autumn sailing, returning to the UK in July and August + through the winter October to April. Whilst we have covered quite a few miles it has been almost all day sailing and in lightish winds (my wife doesn’t like wind). We wintered in Spain, Balearics, Italy, Sicily, Lefkas (1 year contract), Croatia, Lefkas, Crete and Aegina (Planaco Yard).

We have maintained throughout (ourselves day to day and various yards ). We were, for example, maintained by Paleros when in Lefkas - normal antifouling, batteries, heads plumbing, etc + replacement windlass.

Below it is almost as new (mats/carpet covering floor from new, covers over the saloon seating).  She has never looked like a ‘live aboard ‘ yacht and has always looked good.

The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.

Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
