The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety, when purchasing a yacht, you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second-hand gear.

Should you become the new owner of this yacht, the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI, or AIS becomes yours.

Comments

An impressively constructed GRP cruising/racing yacht, tried and tested. Currently British Flag.

Cruised in the UK and Channel Islands until 2017 when sailed to Greece over three seasons. Now cruising waters in the IONIAN.

“The First 435 is intended for those who really sail. For those who want to get away peacefully without the fear of facing adverse conditions. With the perfection of its water lines, rake, and its sails, the First 435 achieves the performance of a competition yacht. But at the same time, it exhibits the qualities of a true offshore cruiser. Sturdy, powerful, easy to manoeuvre, pleasant to live in at sea and with rock solid safety.”
NAVAL DESIGNER: GERMAN FRERS.
