A background as professional crew in Super Yachting in the early 1990′s with a passion for watersports, particularly surfing. Been with W&S Ltd for almost 30 years. Personally involved in well over 1,000 yacht sales as well as several thousand Yacht Registrations. Awarded Fellow member of ABYA 2019 for services to the association. ABYA Chairman from 2012-2013, still actively involved in YBDSA at Council level . Member of the CA. Huge cricket, rugby, tennis fan. surfer and paddleboarder, Americas Cup enthusiast

Runs the Lefkas Yacht Sales office for Williams & Smithells Ltd. Has been with W&S for well over 10 years and personally involved in the sale of well over 500 yachts in Greece.  Knows the local Lefkas/Preveza/Ionian yachting area and its idiosyncrasies like the back of his hand.   A dedicated skipper with the Rona Sailing project, a charitable trust which he has worked with since 1997. H.M. Forces and business background with a lifelong passion for sailing, whether cruising, racing, sail training or simply pleasure. Actively involved in the local Lefkas sailing scene. When not on the water is an avid car and bike enthusiast with an interest in almost every sport.

Based in the UK runs Williams & Smithells International Ltd.  Overseeing a network of international representatives throughout the Med.  Had previously been actively involved with W&S Ltd for well over 10 years. Grew up on boats. Mechanically and technically minded, an IT guru. Has thousands of sea miles, with sailing experience on pleasure yachts of 20ft to skippering 70ft privately owned yachts. Personally involved in the sale of hundreds of brokerage yachts as well as considerable experience with New Yachts and Boatshows.  Owns his own folk boat in the UK, often gets the invite for Antigua Race Week (to the envy of other colleagues). Ski instructor as well!

Crete Representative

Represents Williams & Smithells International Ltd in Crete. Udo grew up in Switzerland, where he studied boat building and worked as a sail instructor. He then went to Greece after his studies and worked in a charter company in Athens. In 1993 he went to Crete and started his own business in boat repairs which is still fully operational. Udo has a wealth of knowledge concerning boats from skippering a variety of different types of yachts to all kinds of maintenance and repairs. Based in Agios Nikolaos, he is your go to guy in Crete.

Leros Representative

George Represents Williams & Smithells International in Leros and has been in the industry for the last 5 years being involved in pretty much everything in the administration and day to day operation of Leros Marina & Boatyard. With his father in law being a professional skipper he has enjoyed many miles on board. He grew up in Alimos so he was always close to one of the biggest marinas in Greece and was fascinated from a young age with the nautical world. Also a big fan of electronic music and motorbikes!

Malta Representative

Represents Williams & Smithells International Ltd in Malta Petar’s marine background developed and evolved on rivers and inland cruising, to dealing with marine electronics and boat building before he moved to the central Mediterranean hub that is Malta in 2014. His passion for work as a marine electronics specialist provided access to more than a hundred vessels per year with varying scopes of work: installation, repair, inspection or electronic maintenance, electrical servicing, plumbing and mechanical. At his time off he enjoys sailing and apnea diving. He is representing Williams & Smithells in Malta and can also offer support on a wide variety of onboard services.

Catagena Representative

Julia represents Williams & Smithells International Ltd in Cartagena and has been immersed in the yachting life for well over 10 years having worked in Yacht Port Cartagena for a significant portion of this time looking after the “Long Stay” client portfolio and overseeing the day to day operations. She is well acquainted with all things marine with a passion for the “live-a-board” life. Looking to sell or buy a boat in Cartagena? Julia will be happy to help.

Sicily Representative

Elia Represents Williams & Smithells International Ltd in Sicily. Born on the south Sicilian coast, everyone share a passion for the sea Elia spent eleven years in Germany as a kid where he picked up his well-rounded grasp of the German language (adding to his English and of course Italian repertoire of languages) and hard-working ethics. Back in Sicily, he studied GFK/fiberglass chemistry, applied to construction boats up to 30 meter. He worked for 7 years for a boatyard and where he rose to heights of partner. But striving to understand more about boats, in 2015 he started his own boat multiservice company. Since then, working in and out of Licata, Elia has built a solid network of expertise in all areas related to sailing boats — overseeing maintenance and repair on more than 50 boats per years including preparing regatta boats and representing a major french catamaran brand there. On his limited free-time, Elia enjoys time with his family, travel and of course going at sea, sharing this with all his clients and partners.”

Croatia Representative

Dino represents Williams & Smithells International Ltd in Croatia and has over 25 years of experience within the Marine industry. A passionate sailor Dino has always been involved in the nautical trade including graduating as a Naval Architect. His experience includes ship/yacht design, RCD boat certification and brokerage all of which has helped him develop sound connections throughout the sailing community with the majority of his time along the Croatian coast.
