HANSE 531 | 2005 | VAT PAID | MEDITERRANEAN | WELL EQUIPPED BLUEWATER PERFORMANCE CRUISER
The Hanse 531 is a very substantial 53ft performance cruiser, designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co. and built by Hanse Yachts in Germany. At 16.15m LOA with a 4.91m beam and approximately 18.7–19 tonnes displacement, it offers a particularly good combination of sailing performance, interior volume and long-distance cruising capability. The model is CE Category A Ocean rated. Still in original private ownership, never chartered, VAT paid.
A superb example of the Judel/Vrolijk-designed Hanse 531, combining impressive sailing performance with the comfort and volume expected of a 53ft cruising yacht. Built in 2005/2006, this VAT-paid Mediterranean-based yacht is presented in good condition and benefits from an excellent equipment specification. The FurlerBoom, the self-tacking jib, twin-wheel steering and electric winches make her surprisingly easy to handle, while her generous cockpit, spacious interior and substantial tankage make her ideally suited to extended Mediterranean and bluewater cruising. A serious performance cruiser with excellent accommodation, equipment and cruising potential.
Euros 240,000 VAT paid.

It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.

Comments
The FurlerBoom it’s a very important upgrade because it makes the sailing much easier and more secure. One person
alone can do it and at the end you don’t need to fold the sail and put it in the lazy bag. You just put the sail down and
it’s done. Huge improvement.
