Whilst no VAT invoice is available an Italian Registered yacht cannot be on the Italian Flag unless its tax paid status was accepted on Registration. When the Closure Certificate ‘Nulla Osta’ is issued it should also confirm that the Italian Authorities are satisfied that all taxes are paid.
