On the Allures 45.9/S, it is the lifting keel that carries the ballast with a lower center of gravity. The boat gains nearly 2 tons compared to the full dinghy version.

The carbon mast and the Rod rigging make the boat even lighter, making it even faster and more pleasant to sail.

And the limited draft with the keel raised still allows access to remote anchorages!

The participants of the Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey 500 reached New Caledonia at the end of March. They are now in Vanuatu. Live the crossing from New Zealand to New Caledonia aboard Fou de Bassan – Allures 51.9 #1.

Grand Large Yachting is taking advantage of the passage of its world rally to organize a boat show and allow Australian and New Zealand sailors discover and try the Allures Yachting and Garcia Yachts blue water sail boats.

It is also the opportunity to meet and talk with owners, halfway through their world tour.
