Coronavirus Covid-19 W&S Brokerage Update for Clients

In these difficult, challenging and unprecedented times we wanted to update our clients on the status of the areas we operate in and to confirm that we are present and working to the conditions allowed and advised in the various countries we are based.

The Williams & Smithells team is still working to service our clients needs.

As the situation with Coronavirus continues to develop, we wanted to reassure you that we have plans in place to ensure we continue to assist you. This includes remote working arrangements in case our team need to work from home.  We are available online and able to answer, process manage, take calls, give brokerage advice and help in any way we can.

In line with Government advice we will be looking to conduct meetings over the phone/skype rather than in person wherever possible.

Looking to buy a yacht, (click here for our guide to the buying process) our comprehensive yacht details are available online through a multitude of major yachting portals 24/7, you can research our listings a leisure, contacting us at any time.

Thinking of selling (click here to find out how to sell your yacht through W&S) we have all the advice and forms for your to complete at our finger tips. Other than perhaps physically inspecting and taking photos we can prepare full details, check all aspects of ownership/title and once complete set your boat details live to be viewed by thousands.

The current lockdown of various countries and more that will naturally follow along with travel and flight restrictions does mean that inspecting our yachts from the UK through the Med to our office in Lefkas and other locations in Greece for many will just not be possible.

For us the restrictions on movement and access to and by the main marinas, boat yards and other yachting storage facilities means inspections/visits for further information requests, sea trials, surveys, maintenance and repairs within reason have to be put on hold for the time being but it doesn’t stop us being here for you to answer any of your questions and help in anyway possible.

Brokerage and Yacht Sales will continue.

We look forward to helping you.
