GARCIA PASSOA CC 55 – DREAMING OF BLUE WATER CRUISING ADVENTURES?

Classic Garcia Passoa 55 aluminium, centreboard Blue Water Cruising Yacht – highly desirable, strong go anywhere exploration yacht.

The Garcia name has been synonymous with quality and adventure for decades, internationally recognised.  A ‘stable’ for the build of seriously strong aluminium blue water cruisers building selected models such as the Passoa’s 45-55ft, Salt’s 45-55+ to their bespoke custom luxury 65 & 75 to a max of 115ft for over 40 years.

In the current market place Garcia Yachts have taken the exploration bar to new heights, their build experience is second to none. With the Exploration Yachts 45, 52 & 60 along with the award winning and impressive Explocat 52 they have been seriously pushing boundaries for the last 5 years and represent the very top of the range in French yacht building. There truly is ‘Nowhere You Can’t Go’

The trend and enthusiasm for buying a yacht and taking off round the world has been on the up for some time, but over the Covid period many experienced and novice cruising sailors have brought their plans forward and just got on with the dream.

Many manufacturers of quality build to order new Blue Water Cruisers have their order books full for the next 2–3 years. A pattern that is also being mirrored in the Super Yacht world too.

With so few quality yachts entering the brokerage market in the last 6 months the second hand brokerage market is also booming, which makes being entrusted to market a truly stunning Garcia Passoa 55 in South France an honour.  Given her specification and the most detailed presentation package we have ever been provided it is our pleasure to offer her for sale.  She is a long distance cruiser without doubt and equipped to do just that.

This is an opportunity to buy a virtually new yacht. The circumstances surrounding her sale mean that for over a decade she was stored ashore unused until completion in 2016.

Garcia Passoa CC55. First commissioned 2016. One of the most exceptional and  impressive yachts we have seen in a long time, from the boards of respected designers Alain Mortain & Yannis Mavrikios and renowned manufacturers ‘Garcia Yachts’ for the hull and structure, Rameau Shipyard, Ethel for interior carpentry and decks.  This yacht is truly built and equipped to travel the world in style. Incredibly strong aluminium hull and structure associated with the Garcia name, centreboard lifting keel, powerful cutter rig. Construction started in 2004, for personal reasons the yacht was put ashore, inside, the build on hold until December 2015.  Finally completed, first launched and commissioned in 2016.
