Before contacting Williams & Smithells to make a general enquiry about our yacht (Hallberg Rassy 382), we had contacted 2  brokers in the Adriatic, they never replied.

On arriving in Greece, Stephen from W&S came to see us and the boat. He was very professional and easy to chat too. We were at this stage undecided as what to do about our boat – keep or sell.

Stephen put us under no pressure and greatly helped us to make up our mind and put the boat up for sale, November 2012.

The process, photographs, details and marketing were very good. The price W&S recommending seemed fair. Over the next six months, Winter, there were some viewings, but no offers. In the Spring of 2013 I asked W&S if they were still confident about the price and they suggested that the market would require us to drop the price, which we did.

We then had some interest and by the end of May 2013 had accepted an offer. The sale from then to handover was excellent, W&S handled everything, dealt with the buyer, money, paperwork. I would recommend W&S to anyone.
