Many topics and legal requirements our clients wouldn’t even consider we have to know in order to operate professionally and legally.
We have recently attended the ABYA Training days and AGM in Southampton at the very impressive (and certainly worth a visit) National Oceanography Centre. From topics covering contract and brokerage law from LA Marine, Living Seas presentation from respected Marine Conservationist Tim Ferrero, Branding & Marketing from serenity Digital to a fascinating tour of the facilities, which was a real eye opener seeing ocean bed core samples 1000’s of years old, ocean research equipment and vessels and the hi tech systems behind the monitoring of our ocean environment. Finishing off the following day with a more formal structured ABYA meeting of brokers to further discuss more of the detailed factors in yacht brokerage that affect international boat sales.
